01 Who we are

Skills Up Freelance Institute of Bahawalpur (“Skills Up”, “we”, “us”) is a freelancing training institute located near Meezan Bank, One Unit Chowk, Bahawalpur, Pakistan. We offer physical and online (Zoom) training, internships and support to students across Pakistan.

This policy applies to this website and to the information you share with us when you contact us or join our course.

02 Information we collect

We only collect information that you choose to give us, such as:

• Contact details: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address and city.
• Enrollment details: information you give when joining a course, such as your education, preferred class slot and whether you join physically or online.
• Messages: anything you write to us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone.
• Basic website data: like most websites, our hosting may record technical information such as your browser type, device and the pages you visit. This does not tell us who you are.

This website does not ask for or store bank card details or passwords.

03 How we use your information

• To answer your questions and share course, fee and batch details.
• To enroll you in a course and manage your classes, recorded lectures and certificate.
• To provide after-course support, internships, help with client meetings and projects.
• To add you to our student WhatsApp group, if you agree.
• To send you updates about new batches or opportunities. You can ask us to stop anytime.
• To improve our website and our training.

We never sell your personal information.

04 WhatsApp, calls and email

When you click a WhatsApp button or use the message form on our Contact page, WhatsApp opens on your device with a message ready to send. The form itself does not save anything on our website. The message is only sent if you press send in WhatsApp.

Messages sent on WhatsApp are also covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. Emails and calls are handled through our regular email and phone services.

05 Cookies and third-party services

Our website uses a few trusted outside services to work properly. These services may use cookies or collect basic technical data under their own privacy policies:

• Google Fonts for the text style on our pages.
• Google Maps to show our location on the Contact page.
• YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn when you click links to our pages there.
• WordPress and our hosting provider, which run and protect the website.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most of the website will still work.

06 Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We only share it when needed, for example:

• With our trainers and office team, so they can teach and support you.
• With service providers that help us run the institute and website, who must keep it safe.
• When required by the law of Pakistan or by a government authority.

For client meetings or projects we help you with, we only share what is needed for that work, and only with your knowledge.

07 Photos, videos and success stories

We sometimes share student success stories, photos and videos on our website and social media. We only publish a student’s name, picture, video or story with that student’s permission. If you change your mind, contact us and we will remove it from our website and our own pages.

08 Keeping your data safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and only people who need it for their work can see it. No website or online service can be 100% secure, but we do our best to keep your information safe.

09 How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you are our student and for as long as we provide you support, or as long as the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete it or keep it in a safe form.

10 Your rights

You can contact us at any time to:

• Ask what information we have about you.
• Correct any wrong information.
• Ask us to delete your information, unless we must keep it by law.
• Stop receiving updates or leave the WhatsApp group.

11 Students under 18

If a student is under 18, we ask that a parent or guardian is aware of and agrees to their enrollment and to any information shared with us.

12 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
